A frequent participant in international arts conferences, his publications include Channels and Confluences: A History of Singapore Art as well as the Singapore Art entry in the Singapore Encyclopedia. He chaired the Botero - Ju Ming Dialogue, one of the popular Singapore Art Museum Bilingual Cultural Forums and his current research interests include 20th century Chinese aesthetics and modern art history.
Ong Zhen Min, Assistant Curator
Ong Zhen Min graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. She completed a Master of Arts at the Department of History, National University of Singapore in 2006, with a research specialisation in Singapore art. She is currently an Assistant Curator with the Singapore Art Museum and the Art Gallery Project Unit.

Patricia Ong, Manager (Collection Administration)
Recent exhibitions she has curated include China Art NOW! (2001), Liu Kang: Drawn from Life (2002), Art of Our Time: Unyielding Passion (2005), Chua Ek Kay Shanghai exhibition (2005) and Gao Xingjian EXPERIENCE exhibition (2005). She continues her research on contemporary Chinese art and pioneer artists in Singapore.

Joyce Fan, Curator
Joyce Fan started her museum career in 1993 in the then National Museum Art Gallery. She then went on to pursue her Masters in Art History at Pratt Institute, New York. She currently conducts research on Southeast Asian Art with a particular interest in Singapore, Myanmar and Vietnam.

Seng Yu Jin, Assistant Curator
Seng Yu Jin completed a Master of Arts at the Department of History, National University of Singapore in 2006, with a research specialisation in Singapore art. He is currently an Assistant Curator with the Singapore Art Museum and the Art Gallery Project Unit.
