ACM’s partnership with Dialogue in the Dark Singapore has been a central part of the museum’s accessibility efforts since 2021. Through the Up Close with ACM programme, facilitators with visual impairment guide visitors in sensory-rich explorations of museum objects. In 2024, we further extended these touch experiences by developing tactile boards and touch tours for special exhibitions.

In this special sharing session, a panel of museum volunteers, docents, guides, and educators discuss how tactile exploration and thoughtful dialogue are transforming museum experiences, making art and culture accessible to all.
