The Image Preservation Lab (IPL) at NAS provides the full range of services for imaging records onto microfilm for long term preservation. Microfilm standards are strictly observed and processes are ISO 9001:2000 certified in 2003 and ISO 9001:2008 certified in 2009. The measures adopted ensure that microfilms produced are of the highest quality and will last for centuries. |

At IPL, records are digitised, written onto microfilm, processed and undergo QC checks before they are stored in our microfilm repository.
NAS repositories offer the perfect environment for the protection of precious records, with purpose-built stringent controls on temperature, humidity and chemical filtration that meets international standards
