OBJECTIVES

 

The objectives of the Workshop are to enable participants to:

      • Understand the principles and practices required of an archives and records management professional;
      • Gain practical knowledge required in establishing and managing an audio-visual archives programme;
      • Gain an understanding of various conservation techniques;
      • Acquire practical knowledge on imaging technologies;
      • Appreciate the requirements of building an archival repository; and
      • Share and exchange experiences and knowledge in the preservation of their recorded heritage and collective memories.
