Museum-based Learning Programme: Artefactually Speaking at the National Museum

Secondary 2 CCE Cohort Learning Journey

In this artefact-centric programme, co-developed with the Ministry of Education, students will explore the National Museum's galleries in independent groups while guided by a Passport activity booklet. They will also get to discover fascinating stories about specific artefacts from Singapore’s 700 years of history as they interact with our Museum Educators.

Please note that this programme is only for Secondary 2 students from MOE schools, as part of their CCE Cohort Learning Journey.

Conduct a Historical Investigation at the National Museum and re-encounter Singapore's history from the pre-colonial to post-independence years. The museum's vast collection of artefacts and immersive settings make history come alive with the voices of the past, giving students a glimpse of what life in Singapore used to be as they conduct their investigations.
