About the piece: “Xué”This piece reflects the act of learning. Learning new things can sometimes be daunting. Just like facing a blank canvas, there is a tension that comes with going out of one’s comfort zone. But when we try, slowly but surely, the knowledge gained is a treasure acquired forever. With learning comes the blossoming of the heart, soul and mind – all of which leads to many other beautiful creations.

Arabesque 101: Decorative Art Workshop

Learn the basics of Arabesque design, a decorative style of art inspired by nature, with motifs of flowers, leaves, and branches. Arabesques are often found in illuminated manuscripts.
