Special Exhibitions Gallery, ACM Empress Place

Immerse yourself in the story of Japanese culture and history as told through masks, which uses range from popular entertainment such as noh drama to religious rituals and courtly performing arts. Woven and embellished noh costumes made from luxurious silks will also be on display. This exhibition is a rare opportunity to marvel at beautiful-crafted objects from 22 temple treasuries and museums from all over Japan.

This exhibition is organised by the Asian Civilisations Museum and the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan.
