Be swept away by the magic of stories and adventure in November and December! Embark on a quest to free Mr Dragon, solve stimulating puzzles, and meet fantastical creatures through an immersive installation, interactive story trail, and a series of free engaging weekly programmes at ACM. Your child will uncover a trove of Asian art and treasures through meaningful play and educational activities. Our programmes are designed to excite, inspire, and invoke wonder!

Children’s Season at ACM is for children aged 3 to 10 years old, and the young at heart.

Psst…are you ready for a mission? Poor Dragon has been trapped in his robe for over 100 years! Visit our interactive dragon robe installation, then embark on an exciting quest around the museum.

This is a self guided trail. Simply pick up a Mr Dragon's Great Escape Activity Trail booklet to get started. Booklets are located at the installation (ACM Lobby, level 1).

Fun-tastic Fridays are back by popular demand! Spend an immersive afternoon at ACM engaging in our kid-friendly Lunchtime Concerts, drama performances, and craft activities! Children will be blown away by the colourful world of music, drama, and art – all inspired by ACM’s fascinating collection of treasures. For adventure seekers, scoot off around the museum on special interactive kids' tours, and embark on a thrilling quest to free Mr Dragon. Harvard’s Project Zero thinking routines and educational strategies will be employed by guides on our tour sessions.

Bristlebot Dragons by Tinkeracademy

Ever wanted to create your own robot dragon that moves on its own? Learn the basics of robotics and make and take home your own mini dragon bristlebot that scurries around!

The Dramatic Escapade! by ACT3 International (Fully subscribed)

When Mr Dragon decides to break free from the robe he's been trapped in for 100 years, his friends Ganesha and Mr Mouse help him out.

This is a fun, enlightening, and engaging drama workshop for the entire family! Your child will learn about movement and dramatic play, which will improve their body and spatial awareness, as well as their imagination through play.

Bee-Bot’s Great Escape!

It’s never too early to learn coding! Your child can learn the basics through sequencing and problem solving skills taught using Bee-Bot, a simple robot. Children will also get to decorate and program Bee-Bot on an adventure around the ACM galleries.

Play with Clay! Makara Making by Lyttle Space

Explore shapes and colours to create your very own mythical creature! Get hands-on in this sensory activity and create a mini Makara to be placed on top of a working music box.
