Fun-tastic Fridays are back by popular demand! Spend an immersive afternoon at ACM by engaging in our kid-friendly Lunchtime Concerts, drama performances, and craft activities! Children will be blown away by the colourful world of music, drama, and art – all inspired by ACM’s fascinating collection of treasures. For adventure seekers, scoot off around the museum on special interactive kids tours, and embark on a thrilling quest to free Mr Dragon. Harvard’s creative and critical thinking strategies will be employed on our tour sessions.

Programmes are specially catered for children aged 3 to 10 years old, and are part of Children's Season at ACM.



Craft, Colour, Create!

Get crafty and creative by trying your hand at different Mr Dragon themed craft activities. Each Friday, make a kaleidoscope, design a tote bag, or create a whimsical circuit sticker diorama that you can take home!

Child's Play 

Child’s Play! Lunchtime Concerts by Play with Mozart. Sing and dance along to classical tunes in our kid-friendly concert series.

These concerts are suitable for children as young as 6 months. The concert venue will have play mats, and musical instruments for your child to play alongside. The music is also carefully chosen to appeal to both babies and adults, and will be performed by professional musicians, ranging from a Chinese instrumental trio to a Jazz quartet. All concerts include a short talk about music and the instruments. At the end of each performance, kids are also encouraged to touch or even try the instruments.

Play with Mozart specialises in bringing classical music concerts, featuring talented musicians, to children (from babies to older children!) – all in the comfort of the best Singapore venues, where little ones are free to roam, lay down, dance, and even get up close to the instruments.

Drama Performance 

Makara Adventure! by ACT3 International

Dive deep down into the rivers, seas, and oceans to uncover the legend of the Makara! Join two explorers as they embark on an adventure to find the Makara and discover the secret behind its crocodile body and elephant head.

Incharacter Tour 

Big Little Treasures by ACT3 International

Put on your explorer’s hat and go on an expedition through the ACM galleries to hunt for hidden and untold treasures! Spot the Makara carved from ancient wood and admire the hand-embroidered rank badges used by Chinese scholars of old. Visit the Hong Bowl and imagine what it was like to trade at the Canton port in 1757. Hop onto the Jewel of Muscat and discover how 70,000 Changsha bowls were packed and protected on this 18-metre long wooden ship!
