Archives Unlocked: Chronicling COVID-19 in Singapore through Oral History
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed and is still changing the world in fundamental ways. How can oral history help us make sense of an ongoing crisis? In this session, Senior Specialist (Oral History) Mark Wong will share about the National Archives of Singapore’s oral history project on the COVID-19 pandemic in Singapore.
He will show the value of oral history when documenting a crisis and highlight the innovative ways he and his team explored in order to carry out this project under difficult circumstances. Mark will also highlight some preliminary findings from the project.
