The front block of the museum building dates back to 1887. It features an elegant neo-Palladian design, a European style of architecture characterised by a highly symmetrical façade and the use of pediments above windows.

This showcase by A*STAR presents a series of captivating images that reflect the influence of science in the everyday. Be inspired by and view science through a different lens with 10 unique images based on the theme “Science and Me”, which were selected from a total of 120 entries from a public call in October 2018. The winning entries will be featured alongside scientific images from A*STAR, to encourage awareness and understanding of science and technology through innovative representations of scientific concepts and observations.
