This is the final installation of the three-part series staged by the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame (SWHF) in collaboration with the National Museum of Singapore. This third exhibition will look at some key issues and trends affecting women in Singapore today and pose questions about what the situation might be like in 2050.

The first exhibition, in 2018, explored the lives of women in pre-independence Singapore. The second exhibition, held in the last quarter of 2019, covered the period since Independence. This final exhibition will look at what lies ahead.

What people have to say about their ideal Singapore of 2050 will be a highlight of this final The Lives of Women exhibition. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to post their wish for women and for Singapore on the ‘Our Singapore in 2050’ message board.

Children and young people visiting the exhibition can take in the ‘Find your Life Path quiz’ and learn about some key choices they may make about their path in life. At the end of the quiz, they will learn which Hall of Fame honouree made similar choices.
