Weavers
Maybank Women Eco-Weavers programme is a flagship economic independence initiative that connects ASEAN’s heritage through the ancient art of textile weaving in Indonesia, Laos and Cambodia. It seeks to create a sustainable weaving industry through the promotion of environmentally-friendly practices whilst economically empowering and creating financial inclusion for women through access to financial services. Our programme encourages the beneficiaries to contribute to their communities through exchange of ideas and experiences, which in turn propagates the income increase and financial independence that would improve the beneficiaries’ accessibility to education, healthcare and economic opportunities.

Please contact info@chanhori.com or 6338 1962 for enquiries on the exhibition and programme.
