The front block of the museum building dates back to 1887. It features an elegant neo-Palladian design, a European style of architecture characterised by a highly symmetrical façade and the use of pediments above windows.

A Love for Kueh: Preserving Teochew Delights with Yoon’s Traditional Teochew Kueh Sat, 27 Jun Yoon’s Traditional Teochew Kueh was started by a mother-daughter duo who endeavour to preserve Teochew delights. In this talk, learn how tiam tor (traditional sweet kueh) is made, starting with an introduction on kueh heritage to making the filling, cooking the skin, “kupping” techniques and steaming.
