[Kindly note that the morning sharing session is SOLD OUT.]

Come spend your Saturday with Matthew Tay and his friends as they present their bus memorabilia and share their love for buses!

Be the first to view Matthew’s interesting collection of Singapore’s public bus memorabilia through a sharing session. Then, take a short tour inside an actual bus driven by Matthew, as he explains its unique features and purpose. End the session by making your own paper bus model and take it home as a memento!

About the Facilitator
From a very young age, Matthew has always been interested in an everyday mode of transport that most of us would not think much about—buses! His passion for buses has led him to a career as a bus captain today, where he puts his interest and knowledge to good use. Fun fact: he acquired his bus license when he was just 23 years old!

Spinning Connections

From food to performing arts, Southeast Asia’s intangible cultural heritage (ICH) is an important link to our past and intrinsic to our rich cultural identity. To pay homage to the time-honoured traditions and living expressions that define and connect us across the region, the National Museum of Singapore and the Maybank Foundation will be presenting a series of four original video artworks on the Museum’s LED Wall that showcase creative contemporary responses to the theme of intangible cultural heritage (ICH).
