The Nursery Rhymes Project: Online Interactive Storytelling – Going Home《回家》

26 Dec | 11am – 11.30am | Conducted via NMS’ Facebook page | Free | Ages 3 and up

Meet Kaya and Roti! They love to tell stories and sing nursery rhymes!

The Theatre Practice’s beloved The Nursery Rhymes Project: Imagine Our Songs characters, Kaya and Roti, are back! Join them for a brand new story about a lost beetle who is trying to find his way back home. Faced with many challenges, he gets help from a few special friends. Change can be scary, but if we all stick together, we can overcome any challenge that comes our way!

Conceived by Practice’s Artistic Director Kuo Jian Hong, The Nursery Rhymes Project: Imagine Our Songs series reinvents classic Mandarin children’s nursery rhymes as mini jukebox musical and improvisational storytelling sessions. Get off your couch and sing along to this high-energy, interactive performance. Then, unleash your imagination and work together with the actors to create a brand new story on the live-stream itself! Don't miss this heart-warming performance that wraps up Children's Season at the National Museum 2020!

This performance is conducted in Mandarin.

The performance has participatory elements and is best enjoyed as a live-stream. A recording of the live-stream will be accessible until 27 Dec, 6pm.
