This showcase features artworks by children and seniors who participated in the museum's inter-generational programme, which focused on the different trades and occupations in Singapore's early days. Before creating the artworks, participants took a virtual tour of the museum’s Singapore History Gallery and Modern Colony gallery, where they viewed a selection of artefacts related to five jobs: traders & merchants, rickshaw pullers, policemen, amahs and craftsmen.
