If artefacts could speak, what would they say? And if you could talk to them, what would you ask?
Zoom into History
Saturdays & Sundays, 1 & 2 August and 8 & 9 August | 3pm
Free. Limited spaces. Registration required, on a first come, first served basis.
Zoom into History is the National Museum of Singapore’s new way of letting you engage with its permanent collection in the digital space. A number of museum objects – voiced by local actors and comedians will be hosting live conversations and taking audiences on a journey back in time. “Zoom” into the stories of objects such as the Singapore Stone and a National brand rice cooker, and “zoom” through time as these objects highlight their place in Singapore’s history.
Tune in to a series of Zoom into History episodes on 1, 2, 8 and 9 August by signing up for the Zoom sessions to interact with our artefacts (limited slots, on a first-come-first-served basis), or watch the sessions ‘live’ on our Facebook page! See below for details on the timings and to register.
Please note that while our sessions are child-friendly in general, some conversations may cover more sombre topics like wartime experiences.
