Manager/Assistant Manager of Procurement will report to Head, Corporate Services. Working closely with Corporate Services and Estate Management team, you will be part of the team to ensure smooth running of procurement and administration at Children’s Museum Singapore.



You should have the following attributes and competencies:

  • Work closely with requestors to facilitate the procurement process: Identify scope and requirements, ensure compliance to Government IM, review of procurement documents and manage the tender and quotation process.
  • Review procurement documents, forms including Purchase Requisition Form (PR), Purchase Order (PO), contracts and other procurement related documents.
  • Implement a procurement system to automate and improve the procurement process
  • Processing purchase orders and documents
  • Key representative from Finance team to assist in the tender evaluation process
  • Review and update of policies on procurement to facilitate continuous improvement of processes with good governance and sound internal controls.
  • Assist in the management of related funds for these purchases including budgets, variance analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in staff claims processing
  • Contract management and administration
  • Administration support for Corporate Services department


  • Degree in Accounting, Business or related fields
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, handling public sector procurement and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement fundamentals, best practices, and ethics
  • Meticulous, independent, and detail-oriented
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
  • Analytical with a continuous improvement mindset

Roles & Responsibilities: 
Manager, Museum Experience will report to head, Museum Experience. Working closely together with the Audience Engagement, Programmes and Outreach team, you will be part of the team to ensure visitors have an enjoyable experience with the museum. You will be in charge of the museum’s visitor service counter, manage visitor feedbacks, spearheading digital marketing initiatives and handling partnerships for the museum. 

You should have the following attributes and competencies:

  • Experience in providing customer service support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Deep interest in children-related marketing and outreach, with a strong understanding of what appeals to children and their parents
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, digital production and content marketing
  • Creative flair with excellent copy-writing skills, especially for feedback, web and social media
  • Experience in managing website projects and liaising with internal stakeholders and vendors is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus point 
  • Prior experience in drafting tender papers in a government agency is a bonus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and efficiently manage your time to deliver tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to see the big picture yet pay attention to details.


  • Manage the visitor service team and visitors feedback for CMSG
  • Implementation of strategic brand and marketing initiatives
  • Implementation of marketing events and initiatives 
  • Develop and manage a communication strategy to engage target audiences in order to grow brand awareness and share of mind
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key partners. 


  • Degree in Marketing, Corporate Communications, Journalism and Mass Communication
  • At least 3 years’ experience in managerial position in Marketing, customer service and sponsorship outreach

Roles and Responsibilities

As an assistant curator, you would be helping us to tell stories to our young visitors about Singapore and the World through immersive thematic exhibitions. You will have the opportunity to engage a wide range of people from different walks of life and different countries, and work with practitioners and professionals from different industries to research and curate exciting age-appropriate exhibitions.


If you are creative, innovative, and like to engage children in fun and exciting exhibitions, this role is for you.




  • Work closely with the CMSG curatorial team in conceptualising and developing storylines and themes for special exhibitions related to history, culture and heritage of Singapore and the World, and produce age-appropriate exhibition contents / storyboards
  • Work closely with collections managers, conservators, designers and related parties to set up and project manage exhibitions
  • Actively collaborate with other departments including digital, education, programming, marketing, philanthropy and procurement
  • Contribute to the development of the museum’s curatorial and collecting strategies
  • Involve in acquisition of new artefacts, handling collection and props, maintaining relationships with donors, and securing loans of collections from other institutions, community members and collectors
  • Ongoing research and publications, with active public engagement through talks, lectures, tours and other forms of engagement



  • Background in History or related social sciences, with a strong interest and specialisation in Singapore history
  • At least two years of relevant research or curatorial work in a museum or higher research institution
  • Excellent research and writing abilities with proficiency in English. Written and conversational proficiency in other languages would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational, project management and inter-personal skills, able to work independently and in a team
  • Adaptable and willing to experiment with new forms of curatorial approaches that are appropriate for our young visitors
