Job description

Senior Manager/ Head Corporate Services is responsible for the smooth running of administration, human resources and financial matters at Children’s Museum Singapore, ensuring robust and disciplined financial and procurement processes, complying with good practices and guidelines. As a key member of CMSG’s management team, you will work closely with the General Manager, you have prior experience working in a small to medium-sized company or the equivalent in a government/statutory board, familiar with a company’s statutory functions and compliance and the Charities’ Act. You will also be assisting the GM with corporate planning processes and knowledge management.

• Responsible for the smooth running of administration, human resources and financial matters

• Manage and oversee day-to-day financial operations including cash flow for operating activities and payroll

• Prepare budgets, financial projections and reports

• Develop procedures, rules and guidelines for procurement, operation for the whole organisation

• Prepare specifications and evaluation for quotations/ tenders

• Manage assets and office administration's operations including HR function

• Responsible for company's statutory functions and responsibilities including those needed by the Commission for Charities (COC) and ACRA

• Work with company secretary on compliance with Companies Act

• Manage and administer responsibilities related to Institutions of Public Character (IPC) including compliance to code of government for charities and IPC

• Manage the application and reporting compliance of the deed for the Cultural Matching Fund

• Oversee the routine and preventive maintenance works for building and facilities and ensure contractors perform their duties effectively and efficiently



• Background in Finance, Accountancy, Business or equivalent

• At least 3 years of experience in managerial role in finance, HR, corporate services, preferably with public sector experience
