Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator

As one of the oldest churches in Singapore with a rich heritage, the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator was a captivating location for light art installations. Working in partnership with the Singapore Night Festival for the fourth consecutive year, the church hosted Secrecy, a light installation featuring lined neon lights around the grounds of the church. The installation was produced by Ratpack, a trio of designers, namely, Razi Razak, Bryan Kang and Fiz A’alely.

In 2017, CHIJMES supported the Singapore Night Festival allowing thousands of festivalgoers to enjoy spectacular light installations, including the Night Light installation Yantronomy by Singaporean artist Tina Fung at the CHIJMES lawn.

Dominie Press Pte Ltd is a fullfledged offset print production house operating in Singapore for over 35 years. In 2017, Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd made a cash donation towards the National Museum of Singapore (NMS). The gift allowed NMS to present a series of celebratory public programmes as it celebrated its momentous 130th anniversary.

Mr Richard Eu

Mr Richard Eu helms his family’s legacy at Eu Yan Sang and has transformed it from a small medical hall to one of the largest TCM groups in Asia. He has been an avid supporter of the arts and is a musician himself. Having won numerous business awards, he is no stranger to both the business and heritage communities in Singapore..


Leading by example as the then Board Chairman of the National Museum of Singapore (NMS), Mr Eu donated towards NMS' Special Exhibitions Fund in 2017, and pledged further cash support till 2020.

Mrs Pamela Hickley

The late Mrs Pamela Hickley and her husband, Frank, were keen collectors of Chinese and Southeast Asian ceramics for more than three decades. They are well-known for building one of the finest private collections of blanc de Chine porcelain in the world, which Mrs Hickley eventually donated to the Asian Civilisations Museum in 2000. This present gift of a group of Chinese and Vietnamese blue-andwhite export wares from the 15th to 19th centuries highlights the Hickleys’ wide interests in the diverse ceramic traditions of Asia.

Mr Teh Kiu Cheong

An alumnus of Nanyang University in literature, Mr Teh has generously donated to various organizations for promoting education and cultural activities. To name a few, he supported the setting up of the Lien Shih Sheng Youth Chinese Literature Fund in 2007 and gave towards Chinese Heritage Centre’s Nantah Spirit Endowment Fund in 2017.

Yuvabharathi International School Pte Ltd

Yuvabharathi International School Pte Ltd (YBIS) is an institution which offers various education programmes from Montessori to Senior Secondary Level in Singapore.


YBIS has been a strong supporter of the Tamil Language Festival with its generous contributions for the Festival held in 2016 and 2017. The Tamil Language Council is honoured to continue to receive donation from YBIS for the Tamil Language Festival 2018.


Through the generous donations of YBIS, the Festival is able to continue and expand its efforts towards creating awareness and promoting the greater use of Tamil language and appreciation of Tamil culture, especially among the youth within the community.
