Developed in partnership with the Singapore Armed Forces Veterans League (SAFVL), SAFVL Tours provide a fresh and in-depth perspective of World War Two as told through the personal accounts of our Singapore Armed Forces military veterans. The tours will bring students on an intimate journey of the Singapore History Gallery at the National Museum of Singapore, accompanied by the rich stories and personal anecdotes from veterans about the war.
Feel history come alive as students rediscover the importance of our National Collection, and their significance in encapsulating the resilience, determination and tenacity of the shared Singapore spirit. The tours strongly complement the teaching of core curriculum subjects including Character and Citizenship Education, Social Studies and History.
Tours will last 45-60 minutes, up to a maximum of 20 students per group and subject to the availability of guides. To sign up, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
