Dive into a thousand years of traditional Asian music, dance, and drama with performances, workshops, and evening concerts at the Asian Civilisations Museum.

April brings a sneak peek! Soak in the arts and beauty of Korea, even before the start of our new exhibition, Joseon Korea: Court Treasures and City Life. Collect a special flyer granting free admission to the show when it opens on 22 April. (Terms and conditions apply.)

Catch award-winning Korean percussion ensemble Noreum Machi perform exciting Korean folk music and dances. Sample free makgeolli on Friday and kimbap on Saturday through hands-on workshops. Finish off your Saturday with kimchi-making demonstration and Korean folk music session.

Lunchtime Concerts at ACM: Jazz

Put on your dancing shoes and sway to swing beats as Singapore jazz legend Dr Tony Makarome leads students into some groovin' lunchtime jazz.

Each concert begins at 12.30pm, lasts for about an hour, and is suitable for all over the age of 4. Grab lunch at Privé ACM or Empress before or after the concert.

Masterclass: Piano Masterclass by Andreas Weber

Andreas Weber began his piano education at the Music University of Cologne with Professor Karin Merle and continued with Professor Hans Leygraf at the University of Music in Salzburg. He has given concerts as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe and Asia, with the Trio Cartellieri and with violinist Albert Fischer, as well as undertaken television recordings in Austria, Korea and China.
