Join us on this experiential tour and discover how plastic waste
can be repurposed with concrete and potentially be used for
road kerbs and drain channels!
We will begin with a 30-minute curator-led tour of NMS’s special
exhibition Plastic: Remaking our World, highlighting the
environmental impact of plastic and cutting-edge solutions for a
more sustainable way of using plastic in our society.
Next, we head to Temasek Polytechnic’s Advanced Materials Lab
for the Built Environment for an exclusive demonstration of how
the plastic-concrete mix was created, and try painting our very
own sustainable coasters guided by student facilitators from the
American Concrete Institute (Singapore Chapter).
