BE OUR COLLABORATOR TODAY!

Student docent training and co-creation of resources

The ACM trains student docents on a yearly basis over an intensive 12-hour long session. Our graduated student docents have guided both school and public tours, including in our special exhibitions Angkor in 2018, and Raffles in Southeast Asia, and Guo Pei in 2019.

Several schools, including River Valley High (2017, 2018) and St Joseph’s Institution (2019), have partnered our Audience Managers to co-create resources for guiding their peers in the ACM galleries. The pupils checked in with their mentors regularly to gather feedback and work on their proposals.

In July 2019, MOE Bicultural Studies collaborated with ACM for their annual camp for nearly 300 Year-3 students. Customised learning materials for their Learning Journey were co-designed with MOE staff according to the theme of the camp. The students went through docent-guided tours at ACM while completing a worksheet.

Should you be interested in a collaboration with us, please email our education team and your e-mail will be forwarded to the relevant manager in-charge.
