The Malay Regiment began as an 'experimental company' of 25 recruits in 1933. Within ten years, it had become a well-trained regiment of nearly 1,400 men. Bukit Chandu: Battle Point 226 chronicles the story of the Malay Regiment from its origins to its fateful stand against the Japanese at the Battle of Pasir Panjang in 1942.
