ASIAN CIVILISATIONS MUSEUM

Established in 1993, the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) is dedicated to exploring Asia’s rich artistic heritage, especially the ancestral cultures of Singaporeans.

CHINATOWN HERITAGE CENTRE

The Chinatown Heritage Centre serves as the gateway into Singapore’s Chinatown where visitors can trace the footsteps of Singapore’s early pioneers and discover the personal stories of people who made Chinatown their home.

CHINESE HERITAGE CENTRE

Established in 1995, the Chinese Heritage Centre is an autonomous research institute of the Nanyang Technological University and functions as a research centre, a library and a museum.

NUS BABA HOUSE

Managed by NUS Museum, Baba House is a heritage home which facilitates research and learning about the Peranakan community and its evolution.

EURASIAN HERITAGE GALLERY

The mission of the Eurasian Heritage Gallery is to preserve and share Eurasian heritage and culture. Its main objectives are to raise awareness of this minority community in Singapore and reach out to the younger generation of Eurasians, encouraging them to find out more about their roots, and reach out to new Eurasians (first generation), born of mixed European and Asian parentage, to be proud to be identified as a Eurasian.

FUK TAK CHI MUSEUM

With more than 17 years of history, the Fuk Tak Chi Museum is Singapore’s first street museum which features Chinese history and culture, and showcases artefacts depicting the lives of early Chinese migrants in Singapore.

GAN HERITAGE CENTRE

Housed in an 80-year-old clan association building, the Gan Heritage Centre seeks to honour and preserve the rich 2,500 year heritage of the Gan clan, celebrate the historic and cultural significance of the Gan ancestry, and uphold the clanship spirit while promoting its relevance in a modern, changing world.

GEYLANG SERAI HERITAGE GALLERY

The Geylang Serai Heritage Gallery showcases the history of the precinct and traces its growth from an outlying settler community in the 19th century to the suburban residential and business precinct it is today.

INDIAN HERITAGE CENTRE

Opened in May 2015, the Indian Heritage Centre is the first museum in Southeast Asia to focus on the diverse heritage of the Indian community.

KRETA AYER HERITAGE GALLERY

Kreta Ayer Heritage Gallery provides an overview of the history and heritage of Kreta Ayer, and highlights the area’s rich and diverse intangible cultural heritage. These include cultural art forms such as Chinese opera, Chinese puppetry, nanyin music, tea appreciation and calligraphy.

MALAY HERITAGE CENTRE

Established in 2005, the Malay Heritage Centre showcases the history, culture and contributions of the Malay community within the context of Singapore's historical and multicultural society. The centre houses the Istana Kampong Gelam, which was gazetted as a National Monument in 2015.

NGEE ANN CULTURAL CENTRE

Established in 2003, the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre houses the Ngee Ann Kongsi Heritage Hall and the Ngee Ann Kongsi Collections Gallery. The former commemorates the entrepreneurial spirit of pioneers from the Ngee Ann Kongsi, while the latter exhibits artworks acquired by the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre.

SINGAPORE CHINESE CULTURAL CENTRE

Opened in 2017, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre collaborates with arts and cultural groups and community partners to promote and develop local Chinese culture.

SUN YAT SEN NANYANG MEMORIAL HALL

The Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, which was gazetted as a National Monument in 1994,traces Dr. Sun’s revolutionary activities in Southeast Asia and highlights the impact of the 1911 Chinese Revolution on Singapore as well as Singapore’s contributions to the revolution.

THE PERANAKAN MUSEUM

The Peranakan Museum was set up in 2008 to explore and showcase the culture of Peranakan communities in Southeast Asia and houses one of the finest and most comprehensive collections of Peranakan objects.

THE INTAN

Located in the heart of Joo Chiat, a precinct known for its multicultural heritage, The Intan was set up in 2003 to showcase the history, traditions and lifestyle of Peranakans in Singapore.
