Object Hunt Cards

These object hunt resources have been specially crafted for curious little ones. Print out and collect all three activity cards, and embark on a quest to discover exciting objects displayed in the museum. Each card has a theme – Animals and Nature, Shapes, Colours, and Textures, and Around the House – designed to encourage curiosity and prompt conversations about art.

Suitable for ages 4 and up.

How to use the cards

Follow the steps below. Remember, only pencils are allowed in the galleries!

1. Take a walk around the museum to find the items listed on each card. When you see something that matches a description on the card, use a pencil to cross it out.
2. Find four items in a row to complete a line – across, down, or diagonally.
3. Reflect, share, and create! Flip the card over for additional learning activities.
