You are never too young to learn! The National Museum has specially created these programmes and resources for young children to learn about Singapore’s past, history and rich diversity of cultures.
Visit our permanent galleries and play spot-the-artefact! These five booklets introduce pre-schoolers to our museum's artefacts through the familiar themes of Alphabets, Colours, Numbers, Shapes and Opposites.
Teachers may use these booklets to plan for a self-guided visit to the museum.
Both sets are available for purchase at our pop-up store at the National Museum of Singapore.
To better support parents and caregivers in using the Early Learning Resources at home, we have also developed special resource kits with Wigglepods, comprising activity guides and audio/video clips to encourage children to learn about our museum’s collection through fun music and movement activities:

Discover Singapore's 700 years of history anew at our mainstay exhibition "Once Upon a Tide: Singapore's Journey from Settlement to Global City", and our immersive multimedia experience "Singapore Odyssea: A Journey Through Time", as our Singapore History Gallery undergoes a revamp. The Singapore History Gallery will reopen in October 2026.
