Opening in August 2025
The National Museum will soon be unveiling a new permanent exhibition at the revamped Glass Rotunda, previously home to the beloved Story of the Forest digital art installation from 2016 to 2024.
The new installation invites you into an immersive, multi-sensorial experience, taking you back in time to explore key moments in Singapore's history and highlighting the importance of the sea in shaping our country's past, present and future.
Visitors can look forward to engaging with exciting new approaches in storytelling. RFID wristbands will provide a personalised, interactive experience, allowing you to actively participate in conversations about Singapore's history.
The Glass Rotunda installation has been designed to be wheelchair-friendly and accessible to all ages. The museum's Visitor Experience team is trained in managing visitors with special needs.
