From Shore to Skyline: A Sensory Journey Through Land Reclamation by Tiny Tinkers

In this sensory-rich play experience, young children are invited to explore the land reclamation process as they move freely around four stations. Activities include storytelling, interacting with water and kinetic sand, matching pictures of Singapore’s changing skyline while digging through a sensory bin, and more! Participants will then build a miniature model of their dream landscape as a keepsake.

Growing an Island: An Introductory Science Workshop by Terra Minds

SGD 35 per adult-child pair (incl. GST). Recommended for ages 5 to 9.

When land is reclaimed using sand and soil, is it stable enough and able to hold the weight of new buildings? In this hands-on science workshop for beginners, participants will conduct weight-bearing experiments to compare non-compacted and compacted sand, simulate various land reclamation methods, and discover the history and future of Singapore’s land reclamation projects.
