The National Museum of Singapore aims to provide an enjoyable, stress-free visit for all our visitors. We provide the following conveniences and amenities to enrich your day at the museum.
Our galleries are climate-controlled and some sections are dimly-lit for conservation purposes. Visitors may wish to bring additional clothing to keep warm during their visit.
Lifts, accessible side entrances, toilets and designated accessible parking lots are available for visitors with disabilities or who require wheelchair access. We also provide manual wheelchairs.

Free wi-fi access is available throughout the museum. Connect your mobile devices through “Wireless@NMS” and register with a valid email address.
Nursing rooms are available near the toilets on every level. Eating and drinking is not allowed in our galleries.
Stroller parking is available outside our galleries.
Please approach a staff member to locate the designated stroller parking areas if you do not wish to use the stroller in the galleries.
Bulky items are not allowed in the galleries. You can rent lockers on Level 2 and in the Basement to store your belongings.
Lockers only accept new $1 and 50c coins.
Exhibition captions in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil, audio-video clips and other interactives are available on Dome Bot.
Lost & Found items may be reported to our Visitor Services counter.

Our L1 lobby is once more available for vehicular pick ups and drop offs. The carpark is still closed due to restoration works. Escalators connecting Basement, Level 1, and Level 2 are being replaced from Feb to July 2025 and cannot be used during this time. Lifts and stairs are available as alternative access. Kindly plan and allow for extra time during your visit. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
