MUSEUM MARTKET at the National Museum Singapore is the museum shop dedicated to cultural storytelling, art, and design. Conceived as an extension of the museum experience, it offers thoughtfully developed objects and collectible editions that draw from Singapore's visual heritage while engaging a contemporary creative outlook.
Rooted in artistic references and collaborations, MUSEUM MARTKET works with artists, designers, and cultural partners to interpret aspects of history into tangible, everyday objects – from printed matter and collectible design pieces to selected apparel.
Works from the National Collection are also available at MUSEUM MARTKET, allowing visitors to bring home carefully developed pieces connected to Singapore's national heritage.

William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings
The William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings was donated to the National Museum of Singapore by Mr G. K. Goh in 1993. This limited edition catalogue was published by Mr Goh in 1999, and contains two volumes dedicated to the collection.
The first volume contains extensive annotations by the late Ivan Polunin on each of the 477 drawings, as well as three insightful essays by John Bastin, Kwa Chong Guan and Polunin. The second volume features a selection of detailed prints of the original drawings. This exclusive collector’s series is only available at the National Museum of Singapore at SGD 800 per copy. All sales proceeds will go towards preserving Singapore’s history for our future generations. |
