Heritage Education Programmes

HERITAGE TRAIL ADOPTION SCHEME

Launched in 2013, the Heritage Trail Adoption Scheme provides schools with the unique opportunity to adopt an existing or new NHB Heritage Trail or school-developed Trail, and to integrate key heritage sites as engaging and meaningful learning spaces for students.

SCHOOL HERITAGE CORNERS

The School Heritage Corners Programme supports schools in the creation of a dedicated heritage learning space or School Heritage Corner, for the documentation of the school, community and nation’s history.

RESILIENCE TRAILS

Based on the themes of the shared Singapore spirit, this new series of thematic heritage trails aim to strengthen students’ values, beliefs and aspirations, as well as their understanding and appreciation of Singapore’s history and heritage.

MUSEUM EDUCATOR-GUIDES PROGRAMME

The Museum Educator-Guides Programme is a pilot collaboration with the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) and National Museum of Singapore (NMS). The programme aims to train experienced and/or retired Educators as specialised Museum-Educator Guides to lead learning journeys for Primary and Secondary School students at the museums.
